Andrew Hudson, M.Div.

Program Director

Andrew Hudson is a Mennonite pastor and organic farmer who has worked in food systems in several capacities. In his younger years, Andrew managed a food pantry for several years, which included food security advocacy. That led to managing two different gardening programs, all in his native Portland, Oregon. 

When life took him to the Sarasota area, Andrew worked in food retail and then remodeling, before getting on with Jessica's Organic farm. After being in leadership there for fifteen years, he went to seminary, focusing on ecological themes. Andrew is passionate about the sacredness of land, and helping people connect their gifts to the community. He is excited for Community Harvest to take its previous gifts and help this area transition toward greater resilience!
