Come out to Beach Bazaar on Siesta Key on April 2 to celebrate Food Waste Prevention Week! Local band The Garbage Men play instruments made from recycled objects and will be playing from 7pm-8pm. Local non-profit Community Harvest SRQ will be collecting excess canned goods and unopened packaged food to donate to local charities. They will also announce an exciting new food rescue program starting on Siesta Key. If you are heading back home soon, bring your unopened non-perishable food for donation!
