03/19/23 Mote Sustainable Aquaculture & Agriculture Tour

Come join a behind-the-scenes tour of Mote Marine Laboratory's rapidly growing Aquaculture Research Park. Hear directly from Mote scientists about their work advancing aquaculture technologies to feed our growing population, efforts for restocking important fish species, and education program aimed at enhancing the success of new farm start-ups. This includes a look at Marine Aquaponics - the marriage of aquaculture and hydroponic growing techniques - to raise seafood and grow edible salt tolerant plants in a symbiotic, closed-loop system.

Location: Because space is limited, this event is very popular and to avoid unexpected appearances, we are not widely publicizing the specific location of the event (but it is about 8 miles East of I-75). After you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with specific location details, which you can print with your tickets.

**Please note that due to limited capacity, tickets are nonrefundable unless event is cancelled due to weather.
