Join us at NewGate School in Lakewood Ranch for a Food Waste Prevention Week event! Learn food waste prevention and food storage tips, then sample light bites that culinary students have prepared in their on-site industrial kitchen using creative ways to use food scraps. A short tour of their school composting project is also included. Student art addressing the problem of food waste will be on display.
